The DRM-UF701 doubles storage capacity via complete access to double-sided DVD media.
The DRM-UF701 is the industry's first modular disc flip unit for DVD-based data storage libraries. The modular design of the DRM-UF701 allows it to be easily added to existing models of Pioneer's 720-disc DVD libraries. The DRM-UF701 is an automated expansion module that turns over two-sided DVD media stored within Pioneer's 700-disc libraries, doubling the storage capacity from 3.38TB to 6.3TB.
The flip unit allows users to take full advantage of DVD-R's two-sided capability. This provides a cost effective way for users to double the capacity of their new or existing library system while maximizing the use of limited physical space.
